Back to the real world!

Chris and I just returned today from our week long cruise in the Caribbean! We had a blast, but we were so ready to get home and see Sawyer. It was really hard being away from him for a week. While we were gone he learned how to say a few new words...Pa Pa, Sawyer, and Thank You! He looked like he grew a ton over the last week too. The best thing was that when we got back he was really excited to see us and he didn't forget about us when we were gone! :)
Vacations are great, but coming home is great too! I will upload some pictures from our trip soon! We have some good ones!

Birthday Party and Easter

We had a super fun weekend! Sawyer's birthday party was Saturday afternoon and then we celebrated Easter on Sunday! Here are some fun pictures!

Sawyer is One!

Here are the first round of pictures! Sawyer started off his birthday by opening his presents. Then we took him to daycare and he got to share fun little cakes with his friends. Last night he went to McDonalds and enjoyed his first happy meal! I think it was a pretty fun day!
We will have a birthday party tomorrow and I am sure I will have some more fun pictures to share!

Mom Update

My mom went in this morning and had her chemo port put in. The surgery went fine and she is home resting. Her first treatment will be a week from today. Prayerfully she is starting her road to recovery now!

Catching Up

I am a little behind in my blogging so here is my attempt to catch you up!

Sawyer will be one next week! He is starting to walk along things like the couch and coffee table and will walk across the floor if you hold his hands. He is doing really good with the sippee cup and is adding new words to his vocabulary every day. He newest is, "no no", which I don't necessarily know is a good thing for him to be saying! lol!

2 weekends ago we went to Kansas City to spend some time with Aunt Barbara and Uncle Doug. Here are a couple pictures of Sawyer sleeping at the restaurant, playing at the plaza, and swinging and sliding at the park!

This past weekend my mom, sister, niece, and aunt Becky went to Dallas for a girls shopping weekend. We had so much fun! Here are a few pics!
