Chris Look a Like

Everyone has always said that Sawyer looks so much like his daddy. I have always thought they looked a little a like, but never really saw what everyone else saw...until this picture! Everything about this picture reminds me of Chris (even down to the food in the corner of his mouth, ha ha!). His facial expression is almost identical to one that Chris gives me every day. Wow, I think we have a little mini me on our hands. :)

Fall Fun

Sawyer has been having a ton of fun this fall between football games, playing outside, and this past weekend at the Bryant family fall gathering! Here are a few fun pictures of his recent adventures.

Sawyer LOVES football games!

Crazy kid
The only time of the day that Sawyer is clean :)

Playing football at Kaylor's birthday party. He wanted to wear her new pink Barbie bike helmet!

Sawyer is growing so much and getting funnier every day. He is such a hoot! Everywhere we go he keeps everyone entertained. Every morning and afternoon he sings along to the Veggie Tales cd in the car. He loves the "hairbrush song" and sings at the top of his lungs, even though it doesn't always sound like the words on the song. He also sings to the slower songs with a sweet quiet voice. It is the highlight of my day. He loves to dance and his newest favorite thing is to hide in the pantry and scream when you open the door and "find" him. He is sneaky and ornery, but so darn cute that you can't even be mad at him for a second! I just love him with all my heart! :)

Our little mess maker

I have always been a little compulsive about keeping my house clean and picked up. I think God was thinking about that when he made Sawyer. He is the messiest little boy ever! I have definitely had to learn to loosen up a bit when it comes to cleanliness! Here are a couple of pictures of his latest messes. He loves to empty drawers and cabinets. Just in the past week he emptied all the kitchen towel drawers and pulled almost every book from his cabinet. What a stinker! :)

Growing Boy

We took Sawyer to the doctor today for his 18 month check up. Wow, it sounds so wierd to say he is 1 and 1/2! He is healthy and growing. We were happy to see that he was in the 20th percentile for his weight and 50th percentile for his height! Last time he was in the 10th and 20th percentile for each of these so he is growing a lot! :)
He was not too excited to be at the doctor's office, I guess he thought he was going to get a shot or something! But he got a sucker and we took him to McDonalds for lunch so life is good now.

Tomorrow night we head to Neosho for the first game of Districts. We had a tough loss last week to Webb City, but if we can win the next 3 we will be in great shape for playoffs. Go Pirates! :)

Tough Loss

The Pirates had a tough loss to Carthage on Friday. They played their hearts out through the whole game, but a few bad calls and turnovers led to a loss in the 4th quarter. Hopefully they can turn it around and play a good game against Webb City this Friday!
Here is a link to an article about the game if you want to see details. :)

Groovin to the beat!

I thought you would get a kick out of this video of Sawyer's latest dance moves!
