We ALMOST got to work on time today

So lately we have been finding it very hard to get to work by 8:00am. It seems that no matter how much we plan or how early we get up something always makes us run behind. This morning we dropped Sawyer off at daycare and we were running ahead of schedule for once! But as most things go, it was too good to be true. As we were stopped and waiting to merge onto the highway a car came up right behind us and smacked into our bumper...just our luck! We are fine and the car seems pretty good, except for a slight alignment issue with our bumper, so we are actually pretty thankful. We were in our little car so it could have been a lot worse. We both have headaches and sore necks, but we are just thankful that Sawyer was not in the car with us. Needless to say, once again we were late for work! I guess we will try again tomorrow!
